All the options listed and how you can benefit from playing custom games.
Destiny has it finally added private games, which allows players to limit Bungie's edge to playlists designed to take on many competitors, allowing you to select specific maps, modes and other opponents. As well as a multiplayer update as the game enters its third year, it opens the door to many new ways to play Crucible, and also receives some Bounty and Grimoire rewards separately.
How to start a private game on Destiny?
As part of the Iron September reboot, all Destiny players – no matter what the expansion, including Rise of Iron – can participate in Secret Matches. To set a match, go to the Crucible playlist menu, select the middle option, then select mode, map and change other settings.
As the name implies, you can't align in private Matches – you can only play against your Fireteam – but you can play up to 12 people at once, a maximum of six on a side. You can go and be alone.
Note – Any time of day in the brackets the default options.
Other independent game settings:
Along with the most important mode and map selection, you can also connect:
- Score margin – This is the purpose for players or teams to reach to win the game, and changes depending on the Mode you play.
- Time limit – How long the game lasts before the Score Limit is not met – usually between 5 minutes, 7 minutes, 10 minutes, 12 minutes, 15 minutes and 30 minutes.
- Light Level – This monitors the Light Level of players, and can be unlocked (as seen in Iron Banner, Trials of Osiris) or closed.
- Cars – Loyalty to a map – see the table above for a complete list. Note that this does not affect the Turrets, or the players' ability to use their sparrows.
- Time of Day – Loyalty to a map – see the table above for a complete list.

Some things to know about Private Matches on Destiny
- Up to 12 players – up to six per team – can play team-based games, or a total of six games in all. You can create unequal teams – so fight against five comparisons – and add as few players as you like, creating a one-way governing body game (which works well on large maps, as both players escape gameplay and close off radar viewing) or enter solo, lets you explore each map at your own speed for the first time.
- One of the best surprises is the addition of Dead Ghosts in Destiny's Crucible mode. Previously only available in the original parts of the game (in Story, Patrol, Raids), one of these collections is included in each event, and as part of a Private Show – not a standard playlist. You can see where each one is located in the previous link.
- Another nice surprise open the Daily Crucible Bounties mode, and earn 30 points of Faction experience per win, work on a Gunsmith weapon, and earn (up to Rare / blue) Engram drop-off games – so even the most common session with friends will reward you somehow .
- Three expenditure, and progress towards Points, Weekly Bounties and Book of Records is not available in the private directory. And while you can't find a specific map or mode Grimoire cards, progress toward Grimoire mode wins and kill applies.
- Many genres are missing from the playlist, such as Sparrow League racing and Doubles. This is because they are part of Destiny's seasonal events, and hopefully they will be added (both permanent and temporary).
- There is clean Egg Egg when playing in Elimination in Private Matches – If all players in both teams wear at the same time, the amount of ammo Drop will not be reflected in the next round.
- Private Match available to all Destiny players, even for those without extensions. After the release of Iise of Iron, all of the maps added to the previous expansion packs (The Down Below, House of Wolves and The Taken King) will be available to all players, even if they are not for expansion.
- The elegance of the new Iron mode and the four new maps (Floating Gardens, Icarus, Last Exit, Skylines) are no longer available in the current list, and will be available only to new owners.
- Like other Crosscible playlists, you will need to have a PlayStation Plus or Xbox Live Gold subscription to access it.
- Maps Class 618 and Icarus are both exclusive to the PlayStation platforms.
- As with other Rise of Iron updates, private comparisons are not available on the Xbox 360 or PS3.
- As well as an automatic update of the game with improved Game-Clan visibility within the suspension menu, Bungie has also opened the door to competitions with prizes.
- If the program is not limited, you know it Swap teams during Secret Game, by tapping the shoulder buttons in the kitchen, or by selecting the Navigator, and then Scoreboard when alive during playtime. Note that receiving the back-end points is eliminated, but their absolute contribution to their team is not.
- Voice chat is open to everyone in the same Secret in the listening room, but during playback, you can switch between your Group and Fireteam directly.
- Private Matching can be set as private and open at any time.
- You can uninstall the Secret Game of Inactivity – even when you're alone.
