Biomutant provides information on the size of the open world

A few days ago, the launch of Biomutant, an action game in long development. But that’s not the only thing that has been confirmed, there’s also been talk about the size and content of its open world in this particular game.

Stefan Ljungqvist from Experience 101 had a long interview with IGN and explained that Biomutant

It will be placed on an 8 square kilometer map. For example, the size of the map would be equivalent to Grand Theft Auto 4 which is also 8 square kilometers and much smaller than The Witcher 3 which is 135 km. On paper this may not seem like much, but the most important thing is how much content and tasks they can hold in your world. Among the tasks to be performed in Biomutant, we find the possibility of conquering outposts or completing secret areas to obtain new equipment and powers, among others.

If we only think about the script, just remember how at the end of 2019 we had a plot of around 80/85,000 words like a novel, whereas in the end game we will be approaching 250,000 words. For us it was a big commitment, we really wanted to finish this scenario.
