The real disappointment of the Cyberpunk 2077 on older generation consoles (Xbox One and PS4) continues to materialize through various attacks against the Polish Studio CD project. The latest comes from the Polish Market and Competition Authority (UOKiK), which has taken up the case, as reported in the local press.

The investigation that begins, as reported by UOKiK spokeswoman Małgorzata Cieloch, will begin first

try to determine when the studio was aware of the malfunction of the Xbox One and PS4 versions. Did CD Projekt knowingly sell an almost unplayable game on these media? Indeed, some Polish lawyers highlight the fact that the studio did not test Cyberpunk 2077 only on the PC version and subjected its testers to very strict confidentiality clauses. A priori, this would be a first set of unfavorable indices for the studio.

Then the UOKiK wants to know

Scope of corrective action taken in the coming months. In addition to its refund policy, CD Projekt is audited for the number and quality of future patches that will allow it to fix the latest game. Measures are also being taken to address consumer dissatisfaction.

After the reading that this authority will make of the various elements analyzed, Małgorzata Cieloch indicates that various sanctions could be imposed on the studio. This can range from requiring consumers to provide additional bonuses in the form of digital content, gadgets, or a refund of part of the sale price, to a fine of up to 10% of their sales. .

CD Projekt has already announced the arrival of two important hotfixes for January and February as well as numerous free DLCs for players from Cyberpunk 2077.
