Have you always wanted to change the world? Are you removing everything you don’t like so you can do things your way? If so, you might have a thing or two in common with Nika. She is a smart seven year old girl who doesn’t like the world she lives in. That’s why she used her skills to build MechaNika, a ten-foot-tall combat mecha to destroy anything that isn’t great. And that includes history books, planned obsolescence, cheesy clothes, endless sagas of boring video games, and pea soup, to name a few.
Once you join Nika in this adventure, you will find that you are not the only one with “special” plans for the world, so you have to deal with them somehow. During your mission, you’ll step into a flashy heaven of mandatory happiness, discover a techno-slavery empire ruled by a notorious corporation, and visit a digital hideout for boring and uninspired storytellers. You and Nika will traverse the psychotic world and discover 18 completely different environments with lots of things that are no longer cool enough to exist. It’s time for a reset. Or maybe not because as you explore this psychotic world, you will meet a lot of crazy people and face unexpected situations where things may not be what they seem. You have to use your wits to evaluate the possible outcomes and make some difficult and irreversible decisions.
To help you make the right decisions, MechaNika comes with four menacing weapons: a mutilating radial saw, a stunning electric blaster, an explosive doll’s head grenade launcher, and a heavy mass propellant. Not enough? Don’t worry, you will be able to collect scrap metal from defeated enemies and destroyed environments and use it to increase the energy of MechaNika’s core. A new core level means that a new special attack will be unlocked. And you have four to choose from: the Dumbshredder, the Electroblast, the Pyrorain and the Groundgracker. A deadly mecha of mass destruction, the ultimate god of chaos, awaits you Colossus below.
Speaking of gods. Nika has a girlfriend, Agatha. She is a sleepless girl who loves animals, likes to eat meat and slaughters piglets and chicks at night in her mother’s butcher shop. And she just created the carnivore, a new religion for animals. Agatha and the great bleeding pig, the god of the carnivore, will join you, Nika and MechaNika, in your quest for destruction, spreading the word of their fleshy religion and converting all heretics. The cooperative mode for two players in Colossus below is then called.
Thanks to the new abilities of the pig god, this cooperative mode offers new narrative events and a new level of deeper strategic combat: the magical meatballs, the acidic blood tears and of course an extra sharp butcher knife. Four other special attacks are available to the big bleeding pig during the quest: the chopping tornado, the cleansing flock, the scarlet vomit, and divine retribution.
Colossus below is the latest epic in Psycotic Adventures, a series of cross-genre games featuring dark stories and twisted characters from the unique and colorful psychotic world. Strategic destruction, decision-making and a spicy plot come together in this combination of beat’em up, shoot’em up, platforming and puzzles. Now it’s time for you to team up with Nika, MechaNika, Agatha and the big bleeding pig in this weird and wacky mission. Are you ready for the destruction
Nika has just completed the first phase of her plan to destroy everything that isn’t cool: building a combat mecha called MechaNika. There’s no time to lose, so join Nika, take control of MechaNika’s and destroy the entire planet. You have to put an end to history books, planned obsolescence, kitschy clothes, endless sagas of boring video games and pea soup. And if there is anyone in the world who hates vegetables more than Nika, it is her friend Agatha, the sleepless butcher and prophet of the carnivore, who loves animals and their juicy meat in equal measure. When she learns of the goals of Nika’s plan, she does not hesitate to join the mission of destruction along with the great bleeding pig, god of the carnivore, to subdue any grass-eating infidels who stand in the way. But watch out, because along the way you will find that Nika and Agatha are not the only ones who have a plan to change the world and that everything is not as simple as it seemed at the beginning. You have to make some difficult and irreversible decisions in order to achieve your goals or to go without them.
