It is fast becoming the new video game soap opera. But this is something that shouldn’t surprise us, as we cannot receive a new IP address from Bethesda every year. Yes, we are talking about Starfield, its new IP in twenty-five years of the galactic cutoff and that there are more and more rumors and leaks that point to its launch in 2021.
But the rumors don’t end there, as more voices join in a unique clamor: Starfield will be Xbox exclusive.
Starfield could come exclusively on Xbox
Indeed, it seems that the cornerstone of the relationship between Bethesda and Microsoft after the acquisition will be the exclusive launch of Starfield. The game, it seems, would only reach the Xbox and PC consoles. And the last to firmly assure that it was Jeff Grubb. The renowned insider left a very clear message on his personal twitter in which he claims that this new Bethesda IP will be a permanent exclusive to the Microsoft ecosystem.
Starfield is exclusive to Xbox and PC. Period. It is I who confirm this. https://t.co/j78Msk8nyG

It is true that it is not official yet, neither Microsoft nor Bethesda have made an announcement, which we hope will happen in the next E3 2021. However, Jeff Grubb has a high success rate and with the prospect that it usually doesn’t give a wireless point. Of course, this does not mean that you are always 100% right and that it is confirmed, but more and more voices are commenting on the same.
