Koch Media is paying more than 50 million dollars for the development and marketing of the Payday 3 game.
Koch Media, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Embracer Group, announced a global co-publishing deal with Starbreeze for Payday 3.
The agreement provides for an estimated total investment of more than 50 million dollars in the development and commercialization of Payday 3, including an 18-month post-launch “Games as a Service” period, which includes continuous development, new content release and marketing .
With the co-publishing deal, the Payday 3 project is fully financed.
Payday 3 is expected to launch in the course of 2023.
Starbreeze remains the owner of the Payday-IP and will be responsible for the further development of Payday 3.
