Over two million players fly around the world

oriXone December 19, 2020 No Comments

Microsoft Flight Simulator now includes over two million players.

With its 38 years of age, Microsoft Flight Simulator is one of the oldest franchises Microsoft has to offer and the current offshoot has now broken the two million player mark the fastest. The development team would like to thank all players who made this possible and at the same time publish other interesting key figures.

So far, for example, over 50 million flights have taken place, 72% of the earth have been visited and 9.7 million hours have been watched on streaming platforms such as Twitch.

Currently one is working on further improvements for Microsoft Flight Simulator. These improvements relate to third-party support, upcoming world updates and the level of realism.

Furthermore, they are working on a conversion for the Xbox Series X | S. This should fly in in the summer of 2021.
