When Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night hit one million copies sold across all platforms, its developer, ArtPlay, promised that we would receive new content and game modes for free. And, as good ol ‘Koji promised. Igarashi, and his team, today we saw the arrival of Classic Mode to the title.
This new game mode makes the title even more like its great inspiration, Castlevania, as it adds several special and unique features to this classic mode.
Bloodstained adds classic mode to its options
Specifically, with this new addition, the Bloodstained experience changes dramatically. From the stage, which will no longer be the big castle if not five well-defined levels, until playing time, since we find a countdown which, after reaching its end, takes us directly to the end of the game .
On the other hand, in-game items are predefined in specific locations and can be collected by destroying candles. Also, as seen in the video you have below these lines, the only weapon we will have in classic mode will be the whip.
Classic Mode brings back old-school gameplay as you fight through five levels of demons and challenge deadly Gebel bosses.
