The producer of Final Fantasy XVI promises several RPG announcements over the next year.
Naoki Yoshida is the producer of Final Fantasy XVI, the latest in the Japanese RPG series from Square Enix.
Yoshida told the video game magazine Famitsu that we can look forward to several news about Final Fantasy XVI and Final Fantasy XIV in the coming year. For the latter, Yoshida is the director of the online role-playing game.
Regarding the Xbox as a platform, we hope for news of a release of Final Fantasy XIV. Microsoft and Phil Spencer have been trying to get the online role-playing game onto the Xbox platform for years.
Final Fantasy XVI, however, has been announced as the exclusive console game for the Playstation 5 and the PC. However, it should be a time-exclusive deal between Sony and Square Enix. Xbox gamers could also play the role-playing game 12 months after the release.
