Allegedly, a partnership between Sony and Netflix is planned for the service’s new game streaming platform.
Dataminer Steve Moser has made some interesting discoveries in the data of the Netflix iOS app. These could indicate a possibly planned partnership with Sony regarding the games streaming platform recently announced by Netflix, which could include first-party titles from the Japanese console manufacturer. Internally, the platform is said to be known under the code name Shark.
Among the clues found is a picture of the PlayStation title Ghost of Tsushima and another picture of two DualSense controllers from the Netflix mobile app. Moser also came across a shark fin logo and an N-Game logo.
The Netflix game function has the current working name “Shark” and is represented in its iOS app by this image: a shark fin. Could a picture of PS5 controllers and Sony’s Ghost of Tsushima (Director’s Cut coming August 20th) suggest a partnership with? $ SONY

Even if the new rumors make a collaboration between the two companies seem entirely possible, a partnership between Sony and Netflix for the service’s upcoming game streaming platform is of course still far from officially confirmed.
