Start the time machine: The Blizzard Arcade Collection arrives today

To celebrate the 30th of Blizzard Entertainmentth For the anniversary, we’ve loaded three of the very first games we’ve ever made – all the story, hard work, and love that went into it – and added a few extras. So start the time machine and dive into it Blizzard Arcade Collection, available now in the Xbox Store! This memorial collection contains The lost vikings, Rock N Roll Racing, and Blackthorne – each true to the original for Xbox One and Xbox Series X | S reproduced.

Three lively Vikings – Erik the Fast, Baleog the Fierce and Olaf the Stout – have been kidnapped by the alien tyrant Tomator. Help these currently relocated looters battle their way through challenging puzzles, smash and solve to escape Tomator’s mysterious spaceship and return home safely.

Slip into the boots of Kyle “Blackthorne” Vlaros – mercenary, long-lost prince of the planet Tuul and a mean mullet rocking machine. Fight your way through horrific monsters and hordes of goblins with brutal strength, animal cunning and a trustworthy shotgun to defeat the evil Sarlac and free the Androthi people.

The Blizzard Arcade Collection includes two original editions of each game that reflect the experience of playing The lost vikings, Rock N Roll Racing, and Blackthorne when they first released on console systems in the 1990s (but with some much-needed modern conveniences like save, load, and rewind).

It also includes new definitive editions of each game that combine all of the content from the original editions and provide additional upgrades such as an expanded local multiplayer mode for The lost vikings

, new songs and artist appearances for Rock N Roll Racing, a level map for Blackthorne, Localization for 13 languages ​​and more.

And finally, there’s the museum – a literal library of artifacts from the initial development and launch of these games, including conceptual art and boxing art, as well as behind-the-scenes bonuses like developer interviews, game lore, and original soundtracks.
