Due to the great demand from fans, the thunder ax made it into the action adventure Song of Iron.
Song of Iron developer Joe announced on Twitter that he has added a thunder ax to the atmospheric action adventure due to popular fan demand.

The Song of Iron, developed by a single person, is slated for release in mid-2021 for Xbox and PC.
