As part of NBA All-Star 2020 in Windy City, Xbox and 2K (publisher of NBA 2K20) celebrated the local community and unveiled the fully formed basketball court of the Louis L. Valentine Boys & Girls Club of Chicago, with the help of Chicago star and NBA superstar, Anthony Davis.
The Louis L. Valentine Boys &
City Club it's been a great game in Chicago
community since 1938, providing a safe environment where children can learn for a lifetime
skills in a variety of programs, from STEM workshops to sports as well
entertainment. A well-refurbished court shows good design
by Chicago artist, Max Sansing, and includes some new basketball equipment from
the back foundations of the roof-mounted for use in stubble. In addition to the new basketball jerseys
court, reviews were made at affiliate sites for Boys and Girls Club such as
rebuilding the walls of the gym, renovating furniture and creating a challenge, renovations
Game room.
Celebrate the refreshing club and reminisce
For visitors that gaming involves people, Team Xbox was honored to give
Louis L. Valentine Boys & Girls Club custom Xbox One X also
control of their newly refurbished game room. The console and control feature
the same amazing art on display in the new basketball court – that highlights
bright, vibrant colors from the texture of Max Sansing – and includes the iconic Boys
& Girl logo embedded in orange and red star on Xbox cover.
2K foundations were established at
September 2018. It is dedicated to giving back to communities and people that
give them a lot by providing them with resources to succeed – both in
in the community and in the classroom. With the revitalization of a community center, STEM
education, and sports programs, the foundation strives to improve lives
of needy children. This is a program we can all strive to support.
