18 Honor and Huawei mobiles can now unlock their bootloader

As Android has become a more mature system and the need for changes in mobile phones has diminished. Currently, it is still possible to install ROMs or change the bootloader of some models, but this is not as necessary as before.

Despite this, there are users who want to be able to tinker with their devices and today we have good news for owners of Huawei or Honor mobiles with Kirin 960, 659 and 655 processors.

Developer Andrey Smirnoff has successfully cracked the bootloader unlock code generation algorithm for devices using these processors.

How to unlock the bootloader with PotatoNV

The developer himself explains what the procedure is on the GitHub page of his tool, called PotatoNV, which we can download for free, of course.
