Thanks to the Dplay app anyone can access from the Android phone to all DMAX or DKISS content, including an open stream. The app does not provide direct compatibility with Android TV, but there are ways to access all content from the TV or player with the app. We explain them.
Android TV is an operating system that facilitates the re-production of any movie, series and various multimedia content in the broadcast, all taken from the television format. Usually most streaming apps have Android TV TVs, but that's not the point of the Dplay app, at least for now. Of course, it is possible to enjoy all the content of channels such as DKISS or DMAX, both live and on-demand. And in a simple way, we outline two best practices.
Use an integrated Google Chromecast
It is the best and easiest option. Since any Android TV has a Google Chromecast included, just open the Dplay app on your mobile phone and send the content to the TV after clicking the Chromecast icon. It's quick and you don't need anything more than you already have.
The procedure is as follows:
- Install the Dplay app on your Android phone. Or on an iPhone, its performance is the same.
- Open the app and sign in with your Dplay account. If you do not have an account, you should get one.
- When the app is running on the phone you will see that the Chromecast icon appears in the top right corner: press there and select your Android TV. Remember: The cell phone and TV must be connected to the same WiFi network
From a mobile device you can turn on any TV content, and manage playback control. All without limitation: the programs that Dplay offers on your mobile phone are visible on Android TV.
Use Dplay in the Android TV browser
The official Android app does not have an Android TV version, and it doesn't work well with installing the APK directly to the player (It doesn't finish the restart, we confirmed). Of course, there's a way to watch TV programs on TV without using the Chromecast option: with a web browser. We recommend you Puffin TV Browser
Puffin TV
The process of viewing Dplay through a browser is as follows:
- Open Puffin on your Android TV and search & # 39; Show & # 39;
- Open the platform's website and sign in.
- You will now have access to all programs as if you were looking at any other browser: find one you like and hit & # 39; play & # 39;
Browser viewing systems become more complex from there Android TV Remote Control doesn't work much, but the content looks absolutely perfect. You can select the quality from the player's cogwheel and activate full screen playback. If you want more comfort, you can connect a wireless mouse to your Android TV; or use the Chromecast function, that's what we recommend.
