Time and time again, Apple has reinvented a product category in the consumer electronics industry. He did it with the iPhone, with the iPad, with the Apple Watch and also with the AirPods. Of course, it has sometimes been copied to Android.
Apple’s TWS headphones have become the benchmark, but that doesn’t mean the company doesn’t want to be part of the pie that lies outside of its ecosystem.
We have reviewed dozens of headsets in the past few years and they have all been designed for Android phones. Now Apple wants to be taken into consideration, for which it launched the Apple Beats Studio Buds

Active noise cancellation and proprietary Beats chip
The most remarkable thing about these headphones is that they use the form factor that is already standard, that of a small button-shaped element that you put in the ear. There’s no protruding stick here like in the original AirPods, although some models have shown that you don’t need to get sound quality from the microphone.
We will have active noise cancellation and an own Beats processor that makes the headphones compatible with the Android location detection system and with the function of waking up the voice assistant. We will also have the transparency mode.
We will have the advanced functions of the AirPods Pro, such as spatial sound or the ability to jump between Apple devices they are connected to.
An acceptable battery with two relevant notes
The battery life of the headphones is decent, at least if you look at it without using ambient noise cancellation. In this case, we will have 8 hours for the heads and 24 hours with a charging case. If we use the ANC we go to 5 and 15 hours.
The charging cable is USB C, not Lightning, which makes it much more convenient to buy them for Android mobile. Of course, we don’t have wireless charging.
An attractive price
Apple has never positioned itself as a low budget brand and this is no exception. However, the 149 dollars what costs the Apple Beats Studio Buds They make us think that the company wants to be an alternative between OPPO, Vivo or Huawei products, with similar prices.
Of course, it remains to be seen that they will surpass the quality of the active noise cancellation of the OPPO Enco X, the kings of this price segment on Android. As we told you, not all noise cancellations are the same.
