In the case of the latest version of the iPhone app, one of the best widgets, comes home screen. For the first time, Apple's mobiles have more than just folders in them.
This comes with iPadOS, as a way to change the size and position of widgets. The same goes for the new app library, which automatically organizes your apps into categories. Both of these features have been seen before on Android.
As for tvOS 14, among its newest we get the new Photo-in-Picture function (also available with iPhone and iPad), the Remote Controlled Control Center, improving multi-user support and greater home security.
As with any public beta, we do not recommend installing it on your primary device. Although iOS 14 seems stable, it can cause bugs and errors in your apps. It's good to be on the lookout for the official launch, which hopefully happens this fall alongside IPhone 12.
If you insist on trying out a public beta, then we recommend that you save your iPhone or iPad first. This will ensure that you can recover your data in the event of an error and can easily go back to the previous version of iOS and iPadOS.
Here's what Apple means:
The Apple Beta Software program allows users to test software before being introduced. Feedback on the quality and usefulness you provide helps us identify problems, solve them, and perform them software Apple is much better. Please note that because software A public beta has not yet been released commercially, may contain errors or inaccuracies and may not apply with software commercial releases. Don't forget to back up your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch with your Mac using Time Machine before installing a software beta. »
Apple has shown time and again that, unlike its major rival Android, it places great value on its ability to continue to offer software upgrades to your old devices. This is demonstrated, for example, with the compatibility of iOS 14, iPadOS 14 and tvOS 14:
|IOS Compatibility 14||PadOS 14 compatibility||TVOS Compatibility 14|
|IPhone 6s or later||IPad Air 2 or later|
IPad Pro (all models)
IPad (Jan. 5) or later
IPad mini 4 or later
|Apple TV HD (4ª gen.)|
Apple TV 4K (5ª gen.)
