Today we want to announce that Apple has just introduced the MFi (Made for iPhone) certification for external light. Now we can make everything work harmoniously when we take a picture.
As we say, the iPhone 11 is a complete photographic device, which is smartphones but has reached an acceptable level. And it's not just the iPhone 11, and they are all the accessories we can find in the market such as the light we are talking about today. MFi certificates now come in lighter colors for the new iPhone 11, a certificate that will force manufacturers to create flames that interact with the iPhone internally while being able to sync with many other features
The new specification will allow the stack or lighting component of the accessory to sync with the built-in Flash and also transfer the strobe sync signal to other additional accessories. In a sense, Lightning interfaces can also allow accessories to simultaneously draw or power on Lightning, as is the case with other MFi devices such as batteries, game controllers and headphones.
This is very interesting though there are other accessories that already offer the same functions, no one has a MFi certificate, so this was based solely on Bluetooth and of course the normal process is what limited the integration of this light with the Camera app. We'll see how this affects the accessories that are already available in the market and see how the iPhone's external light is improving.
