While the WearOS smartwatch fleet is somewhat overlooked by many manufacturers, including Google, Mobvoi is one of the brands that continues to rely on it for future releases. It wasn’t too long ago that we saw the arrival of the TicWatch Pro 2020 and now we have a half step forward here, in the direction of the world of sports: the TicWatch Pro S is already with us.

More space and software improvements for a sportier TicWatch Pro
In the new TicWatch Pro S, the memory is doubled now offering 8 GB of internal space to download applications compatible with the watch, or simply to load music files and be able to use it as a player, by pairing it with a wireless headset. The watch is waterproof with IP68, so we can literally take it diving with us, withstanding dives up to 50 meters deep.
The watch offers some features that we had already seen in the TicWatch Pro 2020 and updates others. For example, your screen 1.39 inch diagonal AMOLED, round and with a resolution of 400 x 400 pixels, also having a second FSTN screen to save battery.
The processor is still Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 2100 supported on 1 GB of RAM and the aforementioned 8 GB of internal space, and offers WiFi 4, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS connectivity, in addition to offering Google Pay via its NFC chip
The dimensions of the box are 45 millimeters in diameter by 12.6 millimeters thick, and has various software improvements introduced by its manufacturer such as TicExercise 3.0, TicSleep 2.0, TicBreath and TicHearing. Of the latter two, the first analyzes heart rate and stress levels and offers us breathing control exercises, and the second allows us to analyze ambient noise and alert us if it could be harmful to our ears.

The new TicWatch Pro S is initially on sale in two colors, gray and black, and its starting price is 259.99 dollars for the European continent. The watch will go on sale from today, March 9, 2021.
