NinFan March 25, 2021 No Comments

One of the most anticipated games of the season has just landed on mobile stores, including the Google Play Store: Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! The twist of classic offerings Fast shopping, lots of action, recognizable characters, and plenty of in-app purchases.

Smartphones have long since become gaming machines, even though they don’t have specific controls (most of them, there are mobiles like Black Shark that even have physical triggers). The touchscreen, app stores, and pocket money have created a huge industry; which brought new franchises to the revitalization of classics

. And there is the new Crash Bandicoot, the legendary Naughty Dog game which is now relaunched by the hand of King.

A very varied runner with all the aesthetics of Crash Bandicoot

Looks like yesterday we launched the first Crash Bandicoot on our PlayStation, but it’s been almost 25 years. After the original release, other titles in the franchise were released, all relaunched in a trilogy that eventually landed on consoles. We even have a new installment on PS4 and PS5, Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. To celebrate, King is bringing the character to mobile.

Crash Bandicoot: on the run! It’s a revision of the classic perfectly suited for smartphone touchscreens. Cut the “ runner ”, with races where we will control Crash avoiding obstacles, devouring apples and beating the final enemies and with a very elaborate universe where it is quite difficult to get bored

. Of course, this is still a “freemium” game, with all that that implies.

Recognizable scenarios, new screens, Crash and Coco controls making lines on the screen, a multitude of collectibles, asynchronous multiplayer racing, improvements … It has all the usual ingredients in a free game, albeit with the setting of the classic Crash Bandicoot. At this point, there aren’t too many downsides: King got the same aesthetic and feel as in the original games

.

Crash Bandicoot: on the run! penalizes heavy ads and in-app purchases. King gives enough margin for fun that you don’t have to spend real money, but the wait ends by diluting said fun. Even so, it is a highly recommended game.

The Crash Bandicoot game for Android is now available on the Google Play Store: it is free to download and you need approximately 200 MB free on your mobile; with almost 500 MB for subsequent data download. The game does not have very high hardware requirements, so it is suitable for most phones.
