Originally, a video was uploaded to the net showing this new interface, although this video has now been removed. We only have a screenshot of One UI 4, which lets you see some of the new features that Samsung is introducing in this new version of its Android-based interface.
In the Connections section we can see a noticeable change, since Samsung introduce a Network and Internet section. Then there are WiFi options, mobile data, Hotspot, airplane mode, data backup, VPN and private DNS. The section also sports a new interface.
One UI 4 will also combine options data usage and SIM card management in the same section. Additional functions will also be introduced such as changing the name of a SIM or its color, in order to identify them more easily.
Samsung is currently testing a beta of One UI 4 based on Android 12 internally. The firm therefore gives the final details to its new interface, in addition to correcting any malfunctions before officially launching it.
Some media suggest that this new version of the interface will be presented at your next event in August. So far nothing has been confirmed about this, so we’ll have to wait a few weeks until it’s official. Its launch to Samsung mobile users is expected between August and September.
