The emergence of a coronavirus in China, a country where more than a thousand victims have already been charged, continues to affect technology companies and cause daily news. Reuters reported today about new plans for Foxconn, one of Apple's top suppliers, of reopen part of its industry later this year.
That would allow Foxconn to recover at least half of his production volume, something he wanted to do the day before. Throughout March many workers will be reinstated achieve 80% yield during that month
They are good signs, but they don't explain them
The main purpose will be to cover the need for products that have been suspended
Of course, all of this can change. If for some reason the coronavirus situation does not improve and conditions demand, Apple could also delay the reopening of its facilities and stores; and the same can happen with suppliers. The Barcelona World Congress itself is in a position to be canceled because of this, so Apple is not the only company involved, at most.
Hopefully the speed of those involved will decrease and do not blame too many victims.
