The Google Assistant has become one of the most used applications in countries like Europe where the penetration of Android in the mobile market is incredible. Through speakers, but also cell phones, Google has positioned its assistant as a comfortable means of carrying out actions related to home automation.
One of the more advanced functions are routines, which allow you to program and combine certain actions. A widely used one is “Good morning”, which can be used to turn on lights, read the calendar, and play music easily.
The best routines for Google Assistant and how to activate them
Google Assistant allows you to chain automatic actions by simply saying a command. These are routines, a very powerful tool that you should take advantage of.
Routines get shortcuts on desks
The latest news from Google regarding its assistant is the inclusion of shortcuts for the routines. This way we can have an icon to run each of them, if we want, without the need to give voice commands or navigate the application.
This new feature is affecting some users although Google has not yet made it official and most of us cannot test it yet.
In creating and editing routines we can click on the new icon that appears next to the button to save or delete the routine we are creating.
Once done, an icon appears that we can put on desktops, in their folders, etc. For convenience, it works like the icon of one of the normal apps we have on the smartphone.
This new functionality comes shortly after the creation of accesses for interpreter mode, which many users have appreciated.
