Leica has been part of Huawei in various collaborations as well as in the Sharp Aquos R6 so that now it goes for everyone, although for now in Japan, with the Leitz Phone 1.
A mobile that a ‘rebranded’ del Sharp Aquos R6, although with some minor differences related to internal storage. Yes, we can say that it is the first mobile of the brand to be exclusive to Softbank when it launches in July.
Special in your specifications
We are facing a brand that does not hide at all that the Leitz Phone 1 is really a Sharp Aquos R6 to indicate that this is a mobile that generates a real Leica experience.
A mobile that stands out for its special camera on the back with Leica red dot and which, instead of having leather finishes, is made even more special with the matte black glass.
Like the Aquos R6, it has a main camera of 1 inch 20 Mpx f / 1.9 and a frontage of 12.6 Mpx. Another of its virtues is on the screen with its OLED 6.6 “IGZO panel with a refresh rate of 240hz.
The biggest hardware difference compared to the R6 is its internal storage when double it with 256 GB and the possibility of extending it with microSD up to 1 TB.
A detail to take into account in your bespoke coat is its visual finish monochrome, although the interface has many similarities to Android.
