How to block and report someone in Clubhouse

At Clubhouse, we can share our knowledge with other people in a unique way: through our voice. It’s a new audio-based social network born from the success of podcasts. At the Clubhouse, we can talk about any topic with anyone in the world, in public or in private. But as in any social network, there are options to block and report users in Clubhouse.

As happens in any social network, there are bad users and the normal thing is we don’t want them to bother us. For this reason, at Clubhouse we have tools to flag certain users and prevent them from contacting us.

What happens when you block someone in the clubhouse?

Blocking a user has connotations that you should appreciate, it is true that there are circumstances in which you can match blocked users, but at other times that user could not interact with you.

• The blocked person you will not be able to enter halls or rooms where you are the speaker.
• You will see A notification if you try to access this room.

How to report and block someone in Clubhouse

Block someone in Clubhouse is a fairly simple process, all you have to do is enter the profile of this user. You can search for it directly or find it among your followers, or the followers of other users you follow.

Once in your profile, tap the icon with 3 dots at the top and click on “Report an incident”, “Report an incident”. This way you could send a report to The clubhouse moderation team so that you can intervene

and, if necessary, delete this user’s account. You will be able to send images and screenshots as well as text.

After submitting the full report, press again on the 3 dots above and press “Block”or “Block”. A sign will appear to confirm that you want to block this user. Once accepted, this user will be blocked for you at the Clubhouse.
