How to make a Samsung mobile with OneUI 3.0 automatically connect to WiFi networks

NinFan January 20, 2021 No Comments

Connecting to Wi-Fi networks with your mobile is something that we do every day as an exercise routine. Not exhausting our speed in the blink of an eye and also, taking better advantage of the speeds offered by our home network are the main reason for choosing this connection. A procedure that can be optimized on Samsung phones with One UI 3.0.

A layer more and more widespread among the latest models of the Korean manufacturer which allows that our mobile connects automatically

to these networks that we usually join periodically and this saves us having to do it manually.

Optimize the use of Wi-Fi networks

A user interface 3

A feature accessible in the “Settings” telephone generals. To access it, you must enter the secti on “Connections”

and stop at the section Wireless, that we must have activated, how does that make sense.

If we look, in the upper left area, we see a menu with three dots, which allows us to access different options, including one called “Advanced” and we must insist on it. The second option is the one that interests us. Appointed “Automatically activate Wi-Fi”

, you must move the box to the right to activate it.

In this way and as the caption itself indicates, what this method does is facilitates automatic activation of the Wi-Fi connection when we are at points where we usually connect to a Wi-Fi network.

We tested One UI 3.0 on Android 11: this is the last update of the Samsung Galaxy

In addition, we can also access the parameters of each of the networks to which we connect. Just click on the cogwheel or hold down the network name for a few seconds and we will see a small window with different options. We look “Manage network settings” and when we press we will see a box with the caption “Reconnect automatically”. This will cause that when you manually activate the Wi-Fi, the equipment will connect, if it is available, to the network that we have used and on which this feature is activated.

Networks 3

With these options, it is easier that by having a Samsung terminal, you can easily connect to Wi-Fi networks that we have already used without having to intervene in the process.
