If you want keep track of which places you visited, you have two options. Or keep a record of your own thinking or let Google do it for you. If this second option sounds interesting, one of the benefits is that you can easily access information from Google Maps.
For this to happen, you must have local history enabled, but otherwise you don't need to do anything else. You have two ways to test this information: from Google Maps or by email that Google sends you a summary every month.
See places you've visited
To see the places you've visited on Google Maps, you must enabled by Location History. This history keeps track of where you are going and when you can change, or when. Remember that the details of the sites you have visited are based on this history, so that only the sites you have visited have been active since.
You have it two ways to see a summary of the cities and countries you have visited. On the other hand, Google sends out an email every month with a summary. On the other hand, you can explore it at any time from Google Maps.
From the e-mail
If you just want a general summary, the good news is that you don't have to do anything. Google will send you a message each month with the topic "Here's the chronological news". These are weekly and annual conferences with countries, cities and sites you have visited.
The list includes cities and sites you have visited, as well as additional information such as how many kilometers you have traveled or used in public transportation. These emails are automatically sent when you activate Location History, but you can check if you've synced them by going to Location History and clicking Settings.
From Google Maps
An abbreviated email is OK, but it only gives you a general idea, without getting into details. If you want to see which places you have visited more peacefully, you can do this from Google Maps. After a change to the Google Maps interface, you'll get a chronological order that affects your profile picture, then enter The chronology of your times.
This chronology shows where you've been at each moment, or if you want a common summary you must enter the Tabs tab. This list includes all the time that local history was made, and we'll show you a list of cities. You can sort the list by number of sites within each city or alphabetically.
The list of cities includes some places that are not real cities, so if you want a list with more features it is best to include World tab. The result is the same, but now the countries you visit are displayed, automatically sorted by the number of cities you visit in each.
By playing in a particular country, you will see the cities in the country you visited, and with each touch you will see the cities you have visited in that country. Finally, playing in each city you will see the various sites you have visited.
This information is only visible to you, however you want remove any site from the list. To do this you just need to find the context menu button in that area and select Delete all visits. This wasn't found in cities or countries, so if you want to remove it from the list you must delete all locations inside.
