Ever since the US government added Huawei to its list of devices in May 2019, new company outlets have been launched outside Google's operations, including Google Play. Instead they install HMS again Huawei app gallery, your store where many popular apps are lost, including all Google apps.
In a statement to the CNBNC, Eric Xu, Huawei's vice president, said they would like Google apps were available at Huawei App Gallery, in the same way as they are in the Apple store.
Google Apps in the App Gallery?
Huawei's inclusion in the list revealed the domino effect, by prohibiting American companies from doing business with the Chinese Conference. That prevents Google from verifying new devices, and devices without credentials there are no Google services and apps.
Huawei is working around the clock to incorporate Google's own services, Huawei Mobile Services, in addition to various efforts to attract developers to its ecosystem, but this approach has major drawbacks in the West: many of the best-known Android apps come from Google, and most of them do not work outside of Google services.
Huawei has tried a number of strategies, including App Search, to make applications not available in its store, but all run into the same problem: Google Apps Does Not Work unless the services are incorrectly installed, something Google considers dangerous.
Statements by Eric Xu they still have a simple wish. At the end of the day, today Google does not have a single app in the App Gallery. However, they recently uploaded two of their plans to Samsung stores and Google has revealed its intention to want to partner with Huawei again.
Publishing Google Apps in the app gallery would be difficult, but not impossible. His Eric Xu cites the App Store as an example, where Google apps are available on the operating system and without Google services. Now, it will remain to be seen if Google has the desire to make the right, seemingly wider change. Another important issue will be to assess whether it is legally possible.
