We already have the new iPad Pro between us. Presented, ordered and delivered. And as usual, the iFixit guys didn’t have time to grab a unit and put the screwdriver in.
A new iPad Pro that structurally doesn’t change much compared to previous models, but all of its components do. New screen, new processor, new camera and new 5G antennas. Let’s see a dismantling
A unit of the new iPad Pro entered the laboratory of I fix it, and his techs didn’t take a second to insert the screwdriver to “see” what’s inside.
Its new XDR screen, the incorporation of M1 processor and the new front camera elevates the new iPad Pro to a far higher level than the rest of the company’s iPads.
By boat, they quickly saw that its structure does not differ previous models. Apply heat to soften the glue that connects the screen to the frame and voila! to empty it.
And the first thing they saw under the screen are the new ones 5G antennas on the edges of the frame and Apple’s new M1 processor. The front camera is also new, with an ultra-wide field of view.
And of course another novelty is the Mini led display. Until now, the backlighting of old iPads was achieved by a strip of LEDs located on one edge of the screen.
On the other hand, this new iPad Pro with Mini LED display uses a different backlight system, based on small LED grilles They offer better image quality and better contrast.
These are the first impressions after removing the display panel. Soon they will finish analyzing all the components, and they will be able to give us a more complete analysis of the iPad. More powerful that Apple has never done, no doubt.
