During the 2020 Xiaomi Mi Festival, the company plans to introduce 22 new products. One of them is the continuation of Xiaomi's wireless series: the new Xiaomi Mi Airdots 2s.
After the success of the original Airdots, it didn't take long for versions like the Airdots Youth Edition, Airdots Pro or the second-generation version of Airdots 2. Just a few months later, this updated version promises low latency as well as keeping up with the house assistant, Xiao Ai.
Less independence and greater independence
New Xiaomi TWS headphones it does not differ much from the previous version with naked eyes, with the same design of headphones and its charging base. However, the interior has undergone some interesting changes and, as expected, has been better.
Xiaomi highlights the binaural transmissions of the Xiaomi Mi Airdots 2s, which simultaneously send audio to both heads to improve durability. The dual integrated chipset has been updated currently reducing latency by 25% in relation to the previous version. This low latency mode is designed for MIUI and is very useful for gaming or watching videos.
The other thing that doesn't matter is the enhanced support for voice assistant Xiao AiI, who you can work with by using the voice to ask him to change songs, tell you the time or remind you to water the plants at 8 p.m.
The headphones feature the Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC) which uses a fixed microphone to reduce interference during calls, and one of its strengths is autonomy. According to its creators, they have a 5-hour independence with a fee that goes up to 24 hours if we use a charging box. This charging base, by the way, can be charged wirelessly
Xiaomi Mi Airdots 2s are officially announced in China at the official price of 399 yuan or 52 euros to change. It's the same price as the Airdots 2, despite the fact that the update enhances several features.
