Since Apple launched Apple Arcade, there have been many rumors of Apple intended to turn Apple TV into something of a console from which to enjoy the catalog of games available in Apple Arcade, comfortably from the armchair of our living room.

Despite rumors a few weeks ago that a new generation was expected, it was ultimately the AirPods Studio that saw the light of day and not a new generation of Apple TV. However, Mark Gurman claims that Apple is still working on new Apple TV focused on video games.

Mark Gurman Says Apple Is Working On A New Apple TV Focused On Video Games With a new command button compatible with the Apple Search function and, of course, a more up-to-date processor to be able to enjoy the games available in Apple Arcade and the App Store to the fullest.

Regarding the hand, Gurman does not say if it would be a new control controller (something that would not make sense to be able to connect the PlayStation or Xbox controller) and if it would be a controller designed for power enjoy video games.

Earlier this year, an anonymous leak suggested that Apple was working on two versions of Apple TV with A12 and A14 processors, although it is very unlikely that I will release this device with two different processor versions.

The storage capacity of this new generation would increase from 32 to 64 GB and from 64 GB to 128 GB. If we consider that the latest renewal of Apple TV, the 4K model, It was 3 years ago, it is very likely that at the beginning of next year Apple will launch the long-awaited renewal of this device.
