In the international presentation of the Xiaomi Mi 11, the Chinese company also announced the launch of MIUI 12.5 in its international version. We already knew this version of the presentation in its country of origin of this flagship, but now we know when many models will be updated.
More performance and fewer preinstalled apps
In the presentation, Xiaomi highlighted the 22% improvement in mobile performance when using system apps and 15% decrease in power consumption when using this type of app.
But the best thing is that they announced that will allow you to uninstall most system apps, with a few exceptions such as the Settings app, Messages, Camera, Phone, Clock, Gallery and Security, all of which make sense.
In addition, the new way of manage gestures this will allow their fluidity to be much greater, which is sometimes lacking even in the high end.
Update dates to MIUI 12.5
The first update dates have also been given. The first wave of MIUI 12.5 will arrive at Mi 10, 10 Pro, Mi 10T, 10T Pro and Mi 11 in the second quarter of 2021, that is, between April and June.
