Waiting for the next (seemingly imminent) upgrade of the iPad Pro, whose latest model was introduced in 2018, we may also have an Apple Pencil update. The second generation of Apple's pencil, which we have at present, has come with improvements in its upload and capture system, and with touches on changing tools or repairing what we've already done. Apple's new patent shows us how the next Apple Pencil can improve the current.
Currently the Apple Pencil only has a double "tap" in the area near the start to perform similar tasks undo the last action, or change the active tool, something to be customized for each program
Apple wants to expand the sensory-touch area, to keep it in the same position today (where you take a pencil with your fingers) make it a flexibility that allows other emotions to change functions, such as the severity of a stroke or or navigating through menus
As with all patents reserved for Apple, it may be light in the near future, or may never be used. But with that in mind Apple Pencil has become a very useful tool for iPad Pro users
