5 tips for iPhone
In this section we collect the 5 best tips for iPhone or iOS of the week, and almost all of them are compatible with different models and versions of Apple software.
Change default apps
In iOS 14 we can modify two of the system’s default applications
In order to be able to use these default apps you need to follow these steps, the same goes for any other app you want to use by default on iOS:
- Enter Settings and scroll down to find the app you want to use by default.
- Enter the app, Chrome, Gmail, Outlook or other.
- You will see a section called “Default browser application” or “Default mail application”.
- Enter this section and choose the app you want to use by default.
Hide apps on the home screen
In iOS 14, we have an important new feature called App Library. It is a place where all apps are organized and this is the last screen on the right of our iPhone.
In the application library are all the applications downloaded to the iPhone, which allows us to eliminate the icons of those that we do not use so that they do not appear on the home screen. Simply tap and hold an app icon, tap Remove app and Remove from home screen
Secret button in apple icon
With iOS 14, a sort of secret button arrived on the back of the iPhone. Just playing two or three taps or taps on the Apple Apple area you can activate various system functions or run shortcuts.
This means that with two taps you can do things like activate the flashlight, take a screenshot, open any app or send a WhatsApp or call your favorite contact. All you have to do is enter Settings> Accessibility> Touch> Touch feedback and configure this amazing feature.

Enter Settings> Control Center and look for the button Musical recognition. Press the + and by sliding the control center you will have quick access to this function.
Block ads in Safari
It is possible to block ads in Safari, although this may not be recommended if you want the websites you visit to continue to exist at the end income comes from advertising. To do this, you need to download one of the ad blocker apps from the App Store, although some websites may not work properly.
