IOS 13 brought one of the most awaited functions of users: dark mode. This feature change the transparent white tone to get the rest of the changes, mostly black and derivative. This color is especially useful in low light conditions so it doesn't affect the eye too much.
Developers of some of the most important applications have already introduced black mode to their creation. However, some widely used features such as Gmail or WhatsApp no longer install it
Use iOS 13 APIs to get better results
Although Dark Mode already exists in previous beta versions of WhatsApp for iOS, developers have made many changes to better integrate with the app. After a few months of development (starting at the end of 2018), you have decided to use iOS 13 APIs to upgrade it
With this you get the WhatsApp interface automatically change when the user creates a black menu from the device settings or control center. Because iOS 13 APIs are now used, users on iOS 12 or earlier versions will not be able to use them. A similar case was found on Instagram.
However, This does not mean that WhatsApp will stop updating to devices with an iOS version before 13
It is not yet known when the dark mode will arrive in the official WhatsApp version, but considering the progress of betas, it may be available in a few weeks for all users.
