The MacBook Air introduced in March 2020 brings exciting news that surpasses its new configuration (improvements to processor, RAM and graphics), in addition to the launch of the new Magic Keyboard keyboard.
Apple has also made changes to the design of the interior, its design, materials used to increase the horizontal cooling, and the case for further work and major repairs.
IFix has launched its standard Charger for the new MacBook Air 2020 and has good news: It will be easier to repair the MacBook Air than the old MacBook Airs. You can learn your report here.
This is important because previous versions of the MacBook Air have been very difficult to repair due to features that have been folded or retained and sealed making accessibility adjustments impossible.
In addition to significantly increasing the cost of repairs and the time taken to do so, this has not been very good news, given the apparent impact on the environment, as it is found to be difficult to separate parts and repair a few units.
Modular elements
In one of the things that FixIt says, that comes up with giving the entire panel recovery process and batteries a new version of the MacBook Air 2020 compared to previous generations.
We know that in the 2019 model, the touchpad cable was mounted on the back of the motherboard, so it was necessary to remove the motherboard to accommodate the cable or touch pad itself.
The batteries are also placed under these cables, so the new cable location means that the battery will also be easier to access. Replacing the battery will no longer need to remove the logic board.
FixI also maintains that other features, such as fans, speakers, and ports, are "mid-level and easily accessible." These are all changes that will make your MacBook Air much easier.
The speakers now have screws above the fastening adhesive tabs. These tabs are attached and used for battery. No other MacBook currently uses this sticker for durability.
FixI notes that replacing the battery with the MacBook Pro needs to be power-packed and can take up to two hours because of the type of adhesive used to protect its battery.
As a result of these new measures implemented by Apple, company iFixIt has offered to make the MacBook Air more refined than iFix, giving the model one more point compared to the previous generation: four out of 10.
Unfortunately, the RAM and SSD are still on sale, along with their keyboard, although there is little chance they need to be stored in these parts due to a design change.
Its keyboard is still associated with an oversized case, forcing the technical service to make a complete sprinkler of equipment.
