LG is one of the companies that makes a great effort to update its personalization layer. A few weeks ago we were able to get news of UX 9.0, which is the name of the layer that will reach your phones with Android 10. But we didn't know when it would arrive, and what the LG phones would be with Android 10.
In South Korea, phones such as the LG G8 began to be updated last December, and it seems that after a few months of waiting we finally get to know the listing.
These are LG phones that will update to Android 10
A couple of weeks ago we were aware of the UX 9.0 news, a major change to LG's impressive-looking list, a layer that would come weeks later from mobile phones such as the LG G8. When would it reach the rest of the cell phone.
LG phones already have desktop mode on Android 10 with UX 9.0
UX 9.0's new LG interface under Android 10 launches a new activity that is of particular interest: Desktop mode is officially the interface.
LG Italy has details on when the updates will arrive in the country specifying the dates for each update. Considering that we are in the same region, it is very likely that the days in Spain eventually become almost the same. If you're curious, it's the following:
- LG V50 ThinQ (early February).
- LG G8X (second quarter 2020).
- LG V40 (third quarter 2020).
- LG G7 (third quarter 2020).
- LG G8S (third quarter 2020).
- LG K50S (fourth quarter 2020).
- LG K40S (fourth quarter 2020).
- LG K50 (fourth quarter 2020).
- LG Q60 (fourth quarter 2020).
While mobile updates like the G8X or V50 ThinQ are good, models like the LG G8S third quarter don't seem like the right day, considering the LG G8 version we get in Spain, a popular mobile multimedia that at 445 euros costs these days goes well, but with Android 10 it would be much better.
We have contacted LG Spain to confirm renewal dates for our country. We will update the article as we have more details about it.
