This new concept assumes more Mac Pro Mac Pro than iMac

oriXone November 18, 2020 No Comments

Now that Macs with Apple Silicon has arrived and that is who we are Waiting for fixes on Apple’s various computer systems is a great time to dream about redesign. In fact, we all hope that Apple will update the Mac with a few frames and a full series of aesthetic changes, the changes that should come to the iMac Pro and that in this sense they can go further.

What if Apple creates a Mac similar to the Mac Pro?

From Khahn Design they asked a very simple question, What would you say if Apple created a Mac similar to the Mac Pro? And from here comes the idea.

We’re just starting out in a structure that is almost identical to the Apple Pro Display XDR, but with the screen it’s somehow thicker to accommodate the whole series of things.

In this iMac Pro concept, we have used some building materials beyond Apple XDR Display and Apple Mac Pro.

We wonder what it would be like if the Mac could be upgraded with SSD, RAM, or with more video cards after purchase.

This device follows the same size as Apple’s high-end display, but with a cheaper channel and body. There is an opening on both sides that follows the Mac Pro unlocking solution and activated Apple Silicon processor.

The most interesting part comes on the sides of the device, where, with a system very similar to the one that allows the most recent Mac Pro to open, we open a few covers that allow us to place PCI Express cards and other items. In a sense, the end made of the net behind the machines disappears, perhaps more for construction reasons. That has to be said If the Pro Display XDR screen already requires that structure to cool properly, the Mac Pro has the power to maintain it.

That idea was our first concept of industrial innovation that was hard to create, but we were very happy when we did it.

We were looking for an iMac idea that many users already crave, a device that expands all in-one that we can upgrade in the future and we don’t have to buy a new one.

This is a real Pro iMac.

Parts

Aside from letting your imagination run wild with product products that may or may not be developed, it is important to remember that Mark Gurman has rumored the Mac Pro is about half the size of the current one. Maybe at Apple they don’t mind the design as we see it in this concept, but some of the methods suggested here can be seen in other products.

In any case, for now, let’s focus on the arrival of the first Macs with Apple Silicon, today, and later, in the spring of next year we will see a surprise on some Macs. Let’s keep in mind that Apple should launch a new Mac, as well as a MacBook Pro with M1, within the next 2021 year, we’ll see how it does make a difference.
