Widgets, which have always been so popular on Android, came to the iPhone with the release of iOS 14. Over the months, many developers take full advantage, given the limitations that Apple has established (not being able to interact with the information it displays).
If you have started to adopt widgets on your iPhone and, in addition, you like to always have at hand the data related to your physical activity, with the kilometers you do per day, the beating of your heart, the floors you you have climbed. .. you should use MyPedometerApp
MyPedometerApp is a free app, let’s start there, an app that includes an in-app purchase that removes advertising indicated in the app as well as other restrictions. This purchase, priced at 2.49 dollars, is available for only 0 dollars until February 9 at 6 a.m. (5 a.m. UTC).
What does MyPedometerApp offer us
This app requires that we give permission to the data stored in the Health application, where our physical activity is recorded mainly through the Apple Watch, although it is also compatible with other devices.
This app shows us tracking daily, monthly and yearly our steps, floors climbed, distance covered, walking speed, heart rate and oxygen in the blood.
On the iOS desktop we can add a widget with all this data, to be able to consult it quickly and check if we need to give ourselves a boost to finish the day by following the average that we have established morally or mentally.
By not integrating sensors to collect the data it shows us (they are collected from the Health application), this application it will not affect the battery consumption of our device. The application is in English and requires at least iOS 13.
