A few days ago, Apple introduced its "new" iPhone SE. We put it on quotations because at the end of the day it's still an old iPhone 8 running with the new-generation processor at a price of just $ 399. Of course the controversy just got there and that after every move made by Apple, whatever it was, there was a bunch of haters behind this criticism.
It is true that the design of this new SE iPhone is highly questionable, not only for its large frame and 4.7-inch screen, but also because the Comertino company has spent years praising the current construction of its terminals from the iPhone X now back to the old design with Touch ID. But then I wonder, What's wrong with recycling old design? And if instead of Apple, Google would have introduced the Nexus 5 with a Snapdragon 865 processor and 8 GB of RAM for only $ 399? As the meme puts it well, "shut up and take my money".
My new generation kingdom is Google Nexus 5
What if Google drops the Snapdragon 865 and 8GB of RAM to the Nexus 5, promises years of renewal and calls it the Nexus SE for $ 399

Of course, it's been a few years ago when Google dropped the Nexus design to focus on its new Pixel devices. Although both parties could participate in the event of the same thing, such as Google behind it and the phones with the best support in the market, Nexus and Pixels will make a significant difference. While the first bet is the intriguing prices for the computer equipment they travel in the market, with the great Google Pixel G has decided to focus only on the high-end market, at least until Pixel 3a arrives.
And of course there was the Nexus phone that made me love more than anything else. Not only for its beautiful size, but also for its appearance and function. I'm talking about Google Nexus 5. It is true that Google's 8-megapixel camera built with LG left much to be desired at the time and that its 2,300 mAh battery was just that. It is also true that many criticize plastic made of it – although I genuinely like it.
But the fact that the Nexus user experience was an impossibility. Everything worked well and given that the hardware that had the terminal (Snapdragon 800 processor and 2/3 GB of RAM) did wonders and pure Android. All this without forgetting its 4.95-inch screen (about 71% of the original frame) IPS with a resolution of 1080 x 1920. The stumbling block is total
Now consider how Marques Brownlee has said that Google decides to introduce a new compact Pixel, with the same chassis as the Nexus 5 but has a new generation hardware such as the Qualcomm Snapdragon 865, 8 GB of RAM and years of guaranteed updates. All of this at the same price as the iPhone SE, that is, about $ 400. I'm sure there will be a few Android users who will buy this device with their eyes closed.
Unfortunately this will not happen. First of all, because Google doesn't have the same line as Apple for this kind of test, not that Pixel's market share has nothing to do with the iPhone. Second, because Android companies have lost a small portion of the screen over the years and we doubt that any kind of Android will ever roll out a compact phone, especially now that Apple is dominating the market. In the end, because in a market where even Xiaomi and OnePlus launch 1,000-euro phones, Who would never introduce a phone with a $ 400 Snapdragon 865 processor?
And is Apple no longer just working on Hardware. Copertino's company could risk opening the terminal for these signals because they know they earn a lot of money for their services. ICloud, Apple Music, Apple Arcade or Apple TV generate huge profits for the company and know that the user who decided to buy the new iPhone SE, will end up paying for some subscriptions or better now, to fully tap into its goal of acquiring new Apple devices like the iPad, Apple Watch or MacBook. And it is well known, once you join a cult Apple is very hard to leave.
Whatever it is, I will not deny it. I would like Google to update its mythical Nexus 5.
