I recently talked about some magazines HERE (click the link) that “sit” a few shelves. There is one more that I like to remember, which is “IG Magazine”.
I know I own all of the numbers so I looked for the entire collection. However, it took a while before I had a reason. I failed to find the entire collection in what I called “My Brothel Me” in THIS ARTICLE.
Even so, I take a look at the few numbers that have been pulled out of my damn mess that deserve to be cleaned up.
IG Magazine, IG for In Game, was what we called “Mook”. This word pulls the concepts of “book” and “magazine” together, and therefore we want the journal to have all of the characteristics.
The first edition was published in March 2009 and most recently on July 26, 2013. There were a total of 27 bi-monthly issues, 7 from the series, 3 special issues reported by Ankama Presse.
The content was high quality with news, reviews, features and numerous interviews with creators and artists from the world of video games. Everything well illustrated.
IG Magazine, which is fully funded by its publisher, initially contains no advertising. After 12 issues, the advertisement appears so as not to increase the price of the magazine, but this causes the anger of some readers.
The magazine is widely available on the GAMEBLOG website (click the link). However, as evidence of a good readership, it is the subject of articles on various blogs.
So we can find many articles on BRUNO’s blog (click the link) that write in this magazine for good reason. But we can also quote DOPAMINE, DUDU, GOTENGO, MADI35, OLICRAZY75 …
(Click the links in uppercase)
Well I’ll try to clean up and find the missing ones …
