Amazon’s commitment to increasing its benefits in the video game division continues. The company has announced that has opened its new studio in Canada, specifically in the city of Montreal, as revealed Polygon.

The team includes Luc Bouchard, Production Lead, Xavier Marquis as Creative Director, Alexandre Remy as Production Lead, and Romain Rimokh as Content Director.
“We are excited to start with a blank page and the creative freedom to create a completely unique experience in the multiplayer space,” celebrated Marquis. “We felt a true connection to the folks at Amazon Games, their approach to video games … we couldn’t be more excited to start a study with them.”
Now, the objective of the study, as Marquis has well said, is create a new online multiplayer IP. So far, more details about its development or theme are unknown.
Amazon and perseverance
Amazon Games Montreal will be the company’s fourth game development studio and the first outside the United States.
