The Android 12 beta is here. We’ll tell you how you can register for this and on which devices you can already try out the new mobile phone OS.
Google has the public beta of Android 12 Approved. As of now, not only developers but also users can choose the successor to Android 11
The Android 12 beta is available for these phones
- Google Pixel 3 (XL)
- Google Pixel 3a (XL)
- Google Pixel 4 (XL)
- Google Pixel 4a (5G)
- Google Pixel 5
- iQOO 7*
In addition, according to Google, the beta should also be available on selected devices from Asus, Xiaomi, OnePlus, Oppo, Realme, Sharp, Tecno, TCL, Vivo and ZTE. As soon as we have information on the manufacturers’ beta programs, we will update the text.
Note: For cell phones marked with * you do not have to register with Google, but with the respective manufacturer for the beta. You can find details about this if you follow the respective link.

Wait for OTA update
Exit Android 12 Beta
To return to the regular Android version, log in to the beta program as shown and click on “Log off device” next to your smartphone. You will then receive the regular, stable Android version again via OTA update.
