Assassin's Creed Valhalla allow players, who can choose between male or female protagonist, to have homosexual relationships with some of the characters that are in the open world of Great Britain. The narrative director of the Ubisoft title, Darby McDevitt, confirms in an interview with Stevivor that there will be many characters with whom to have an affair.
"There are plenty of romances to have that can be found across the map," explains McDevitt, "and you can choose how to approach them in any way that fits you"
In Valhallaplayers will have a camp to evolve, both in its structure and in the plot of its characters. Julien Laferrire, main producer of the game, he explained to Eurogamer that this camp function as "the center of our missions and the center of the decisions you make". The story arcs will start and end there, including the alliances forged after marrying or relating to other Viking clans
Assassin's Creed in the viking world
Assassin's Creed Valhalla focuses on the time of the Vikings arrive in Great Britain. A small portion of the game, an introduction, will take place on Nordic lands, but most of the time a huge british open world. Although there will be references to Nordic mythology, the game will have a h istorical approach: there will be mythology, as seen in the trailer, but don't expect huge creatures like in God of war
Valhalla is in development by 15 studios, with Ubisoft Montreal (Assassin's Creed Origins) to the head. The title will launch late 2020 for Xbox Series X, Xbox One, PS5, PS4, PC and Google Stadia.
