A major online event will take place on June 6th. Its components include the Future Games Show, the PC Gaming Show, Paradox Insider and Guerilla Collective. The latter is an association of various indie developers who want to present and announce different titles during events. This includes Larian Studios, developer of Baldur's Gate III, and there is obviously news to announce about the title.
Via Twitter, Michael Douse from Larian Studios confirmed that they had some announcements about Baldur's Gate III in their pockets for the event. In addition, there should be some other announcements for another role play series of the studio, namely Divinity. There would be no new game in the series, but you are playing with Divinity 2: Original Sin and its characters. Role-playing fans should definitely make a note of the date.
As hyped as I am for Baldurs Gate III, Im hoping this is a divinity announcement like a spin off card game or some dlc for Original Sin II or something. I need more Rivellon in my life
