Nearly eight years after its first announcement, Mount and Blade 2: King of the Banner finally arrived via Steam Early Access.
Medieval action cosplayers did a good job too. Developer Taleworlds boasted some impressive number of concurrent players-said to be enough to make it the biggest Steam release this year.
#Bannerlord There are currently more than 145,000 concurrent players. It took 100 minutes to reach 100,000. Get +1250 comments on Steam in just 3 hours, 88% of which are positive.
All these numbers have made @Riding and hacking II: Bannerlord is the biggest release on Steam in 2020.
Thank you

These numbers have only increased in the past day, with more than 200,000 people already playing at the time of writing.
If you are unfamiliar with Mount and Blade, it is a sword and shield warrior with no fantasy elements, in which you can form soldiers and siege the castle.
