An XP action starts in Star Wars: Battlefront 2: You will receive double experience points until March 27, 2020, even three times the weekend of March 28th. This is probably due to the current coronavirus pandemic – while Reddit doesn't seem to be entirely innocent either. The DICE Community Manager addressed the players in a tweet.
When asked what the exact reason for such a long action was, Walker replied: “People are stuck at home. We cannot change the world, but we can make playing a little bit more pleasant for them «.
We're turning on x2 Experience in Star Wars Battlefront II up until March 27, and then it'll be a x3 Experience weekend.

Was it a reaction to Reddit memes?
The developers may have the XP Boost for all players picked up on an idea from Reddit. Although there is nothing to read about it in the statement, the timing is interesting: In a post that has now closed with almost 7,000 upvotes, the creator XCube285 asked all video game publishers to double-XP actions.
The whole thing was probably meant as a joke, but now many players are hoping for similar actions from other developers and publishers. However, there is currently no information on whether DICE or EA has further plans in this direction or whether other companies come up with the same idea.

Is there a Corona Steam sale? At least that's another player request that gets a lot of support through social media. So far, Valve has not responded. However, such an action would not be completely absurd: After all, Steam has just cracked its user record with 20 million players.
