Drea-ea-ea-ea-eams, dream, dream, dream
Drea-ea-ea-ea-eams, dream, dream, dream
When I want you, in my arms
When I want you and all your charms, you understand
Media Molecule's dream began with this seemingly unknown abstraction. Only with the release of the closed Beta version did it show its true nature as a powerful, easy-to-use game engine. Now everything is normal, the beta version is completely over, and the facts are clear: the dream is LittleBigPlanet for growth hormone.
Media Molecule's cute platform game is limited by its visual style, Dreams seems to offer unlimited possibilities, people can use realistic and stylized visual design, with its tools to make various types of games and movies. We have been impressed with the quality of things made with its tools since the closed Beta embargo. Now that it's completely used up, people are playing and doing something amazing. Here are some of the best methods:
Star Wars X wing
There are no longer many developers making games in pure flight simulation style. Fortunately, a Dreams creator has personally taken responsibility for making his own Dreams Star Wars X-Wing game (I mean "in a dream", thank you).
Final fantasy 7 remake, erm, remake
Someone remakes FF7 in a dream #MadeInDreamshttps://t.co/1bmLwlmy1k pic.twitter.com/rLbodQI1Ll

Someone made a remake, wasting time and space around us. We are all floating now. Floating in the void. Anyway, check out the Final Fantasy 7 Remake footage reproduced above in Dreams.
Cyberpunk 1997
Can you call it a remake before the game is released? Maybe not. Fortunately, this is a fake. If you want to know what Cyberpunk 2077 will look like as a PS1 game, Bearly Regal will definitely satisfy you.
The Last os Us Part 2
Another film, adapted from Bearly Regal, imagines Last of Us Part 2 as a silent hill-like PS1 horror. It's fully playable and well made. I like the way Ellie puts her hand out of the wall, just like the 3A sequel to Naughty Dog.
Little big planet
(Video) r / PS4 Produces New "Little Big Planet" Game (TheTurtleKing514) in a Dream on PS4
If you really want to dig deeper, someone created a Media Molecule game within the Media Molecule game. That's right, you can play a new LittleBigPlanet game clip in Dreams. Dreams in Dreams-This is some dream stealing space.
Star Dew Valley
Just Completed 3D Pelican Town #MadeInDreams pic.twitter.com/Bn3gWl1SiL

Tired of Stardew Valley being so flat and full of game mechanics? you're very lucky. The experience created by cTooshi in Dreams allows you to wander 3D in Pelican Town in Star Dew Valley.
Fallout 4
So someone made Fallout 4 in Dreamland #MadeInDreams # PS4sharehttps://t.co/9XOhaOIt5c pic.twitter.com/kzH8HMjQBV

West Virginia is almost paradise. Someone is being sued by a lawyer.
Here, someone created an open area for Fallout 4 in Dreams, and even if you can buy a Bethesda game, you can pretend to be playing a Bethesda game and roam in it. Check out the Fallout 4 link in Dreams and try it yourself.
Red Dead online
Someone made The Wilderness in R / RedDeadOnline's Dream Online
Someone has to do it, somebody has to do it. This is a mini-game made by Dreams that sparked a joke about connection issues in Rockstar's multiplayer cowboy game Red Dead Online.
Realistic eggs
Dreams is not only a portal drug for game design, but also the place where 3D sculpture artists were born. Take this picture of the perfect omelette and rendered eggs created by closed beta participant DirtyHarolds-this is just one example of how you can use this tool to add impressive details to your work. There is no doubt that someone will extract assets like this and upload them, ready for use by others in the community.
Metal Gear Solid
Bearly Regal's last PS1-style game, the opening part of PS1's Metal Gear Solid, was crafted in Dreams.
Rainy first-person shooter
This is just a proof-of-concept and doesn't show any gameplay, but it shows an incredible level of detail in which Dreams can be placed in a first-person environment in a realistic style. Inside, the killer walked along a rainy American street with a pool beside it. You will hear dogs barking in the nearby garden, pistols reflecting light, and wind rustling in the trees. It seems to take a week to create, and I can't wait to see what someone can do in a few months.
Dead space scene
# DreamsPS4 Direct Twitter upload of Dead Space scene. I have decided to stop working. pic.twitter.com/dyk70zCMN4

I wouldn't be surprised if Sony started making such a copy, but this short clip demonstrates the use of the Dreams tool to enable people to recreate the opening scene from Dead Space. It also hints at a potentially potentially horror game offered by Dreams. However, maybe don't make the enemy a banana. The link there is from another scene in "Dead Space in a Dream".
PT
In another awesome copyright infringement case, someone recreated Konami's playable trailer for PT Silent Hills. All assets are present and correct, and it looks as if they have received a slight graphic shock. Through the collaboration within Dreams, there is no doubt that multiple creators can come together to add a finishing touch to this impressive creation. But as I said before, I'm even more excited about the prospects of some primitive horrors produced using these tools.
Divide
Of course, not all first-person games look realistic. The division indicates that dreams are also capable of creating arcade games. In this case, you can collect items and avoid obstacles into a line that can be separated with the touch of a button. It has a high score table and even an achievement system.
Lovecraft
This article gives us a glimpse into the more stylized aesthetics in Dreams. This is a proof-of-concept proof of Lovecraft's horror, covered with red filters, and tendrils winding in the sky.
Dream Dash
This is a very attractive platformer that requires players to run fast in the game levels. It showcases some of the physical abilities that Dreams has, as well as the fact that creators can implement powers such as acceleration. It looks interesting.
Robots, bugs, short films, art showcases, etc.
Media Molecule recently conducted a live broadcast showing the coolest creation in Dreams to date. If this doesn't sell to you on the game, I don't know what will happen. Including fighting games, 3D adventures, first-person exploration games, platform games, mech fighting games, modeling, animation equipment and more. Honestly, just look at it. Watch them all.
In addition, someone has created their own performance capture toolkit in Dreams so that they can role play.
Dreams is now available exclusively on PlayStation 4. You can view our Dreams hands-on here.
