According to recent reports, 505 Games and Artplay are in the early planning stages for a Bloodstained sequel. However, current development resources are focused on completing the upcoming content for Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. With us you have a lot to do.
There are actually some elements of the post-launch roadmap that have fallen behind for the game released in June 2019. Hence, there is no chance an unidentified Metroidvania will be operating under the supervision of Koji Igarashi in the coming days.
