The latest party game in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare has been removed.
As part of this week Call of Duty: Modern Warfare After the content was updated, the game received many fresh playlists and new modes.
These include giant infections; variants of the "infected" played on the game's large Ground War map. The number of players and the size of these maps creates another kind of confusion with traditional Infected, but maybe a little too good.
Developer Infinity Ward quickly discovered that the Giant Infection Award gave players more XP than expected. This mode has been disabled since then until the problem is resolved.
The developer announced this in a tweet, although no date was provided as to when the giant infection will recover.
Giant Infection playlists provide too much XP, so we have only released one playlist update to remove the mode when repairs are made.

Although it may be disappointing, keep in mind that Modern Warfare has a combat pass and XP experience is a key factor in climbing the ranks.
Giant infection is also classified as party mode, which means that kills / deaths caused while playing the game will not affect the player's main data. This pattern is interesting, so it's understandable that developers don't want them to get too much in return.
Other modes added in this update remain, such as "ground war" playlists with realism rules and no tanks.
